Things take time. The Doctor starts this show pleading with the funk gods asking them to Stop the Rain, because it was down for three days. This rain lead to Manchester and a band who defined the last depression, a donkey jacket with HATE scratched on the back of it, and Joy Division. The clouds lift, we end up on the dance floor of [[Paradise Garage]] with Womack & Womack – get all soulful, and then we finally end up finding a bit of a laugh around the table with Mama Groove. Survival is the new success, people.
