Radioactive International Totally Rocks

This week Radioactive celebrates one year on the air and 21 years from when the station first started.  So this week’s show is dedicated to that era before the station initially started and to the songs that would have been played if I had been around for the first go round of Radioactive.  It’s hits central this week starting off with Operation Ivy, Culture Shock, Crass and Subhumans.  Then it gets a bit more obscure with The Testors , The Maids, The Descendents, The Freeze, The Authorities and The Dogs.  At around the half hour mark it’s a set of the kind of tunes I played in my short late night stints on college radio in America including, No Means no, The Jesus Lizard, Big Black, The Minutemen and Husker Du.  Then its back to the hits – The Damned, Stiff Little Fingers, The Ruts, Spizz Energi, The Selecter and finally The Vapors.  It has been an absolute pleasure to present this show over the last year on this station and I look forward to many happy returns here.  Everyone should bop down to The Thomas House tomorrow night for the birthday party and some great tunes.
