This week’s show was supposed to have 2 guest hosts from America on it, but said guest hosts and I spent the entirety of the last two weeks talking, listening to music and drinking cheap lager, but with the mic turned off. So tonight’s show is all the tunes I picked that made me think of my two best mates from America. Things kick off with Nirvana’s big hit before we launch into The Pixies, Mudhoney, The Supersuckers, Nomeansno, PJ Harvey, The Reverend Horton Heat, Three on a Match, The Minutemen and Husker Du. At the half hour mark it is a brand new world exclusive tune from the objectorZ and then its on to Poison Idea, Starfish, Queens of the Stone Age, The Jesus Lizard, Mule and Big Black. Finishing off the show it’s a bit of Jimi Hendrix just because it’s great. Tune in, rock out, I wish I’d got around to having Jef and Celeste on the show because they are way more entertaining than I am.
