Groove on the Wireless Volume 2 – show 9 – isolated / sick
Dr. Is sick with the virus. And so he uses this as an opportunity to create a radio show of tunes that I listend too as I drifted in and out of consciousness. So, what have a I learned from being sick. So sick that two years ago my lungs migh’ve filled up with green guck that I might’ve been a goner. I binged dark box sets, because in the coal you find the diamonds. All lives within the tradgedies. We are drawn towards them because we still fail to understand, even though we know it to be true, how we, how the person survives them. How do we navigate grief? How do we survive sickeness? How do we overcome lonliness. We do it by building our own tribe. We do it because it is the only way, we can survive. We all need someone who will put food outside your door when you’re in isolation. People who will bring you fresh clothes, and medicine and water. People who will provide in your hours of need when you are hobbled and have been isolated from the tribe We build ties and bonds over the years because we grow wise to the storms that are to come. This show is dedicated to my providers.
