83, the number brought it back to me. There are moments which occur in your life with such intensity that they burn into memory, leaving them clear, and permanent. In 1983 a band from Manchester released a track, which had the most distinctive sound and I remember the moment I heard those beats for the first time. It was a Sunday, and I was in the car, and I was 14 years old. I felt like I’d heard the future. We finish with that track this evening.
