Older folks have been on my mind recently. I met a man recently that fought in Africa in WW2 in the flight corps and said “Chocks away” and really meant it from experience. It got me thinking about age and society and how maturity is valued and thought of. Which got me thinking about how ageing and growth and the passage of time are reflected through music.
