That Noisy 90’s Rock Totally Rocked 68 16th January

This week’s show focuses on that noisy rock that was all the rage in the 90’s.  We kick things off in 1987 with a Wire cover by Henrietta Collins and the Wifebeating Childhaters, then it’s on to Cows, TAD, The Melvins, Helmet, Unsane, The Jesus Lizard, Mule, Shellac and a relatively new one from Tomahawk.  To prove that noise rock wasn’t a purely American thing we go to Japan for Melt Banana and then stall it in Ireland for Bambi, Gout and Therapy?  Next its off to Australia for the Scientists and then back to America for Oblivians, Dinosaur Jr., The Didjits and The Big Boys.   Sit back, stick on a flannel and a pair of shorts and get your noise on!

As always, all links will take you somewhere where you can purchase the music played on the show.
