This Show Totally Rocks 27th April
Alright we are back. My apologies for the unannounced holiday. I meant to announce it, I was just too busy sunning myself on beaches and filling myself full of Mexican food and IPA’s in sunny Southern California to get anywhere near a computer. I did pick up a bit of vinyl on my travels, the most exciting of which is the superb brand new (to me) CFM album. This week’s show is a smorgasbord of genres with loads of Californian psych, some Swami and San Diego bands and even a dip into a bit of Mariachi. Tune in for:
That’s your lot. Tune in, wig out!!

Interview with Larry Kirwan of Black 47
An interview with Larry Kirwan which was conducted in Dublin just one week after Black 47 had played their final show. Topics covered include the origin of the band , the politics and the controversies , Irish history , the Iraq war , his view on Irish literary /political figures such as Sean O’Casey and Brendan Behan , and even a bit on the Right2Water campaign.
Enjoy the always articulate and entertaining Larry Kirwan , and we hope to see you on Tuesday May 9th for the Irish premiere of “Fanatic Heart: The story so far of Black 47” , the feature length documentary on the band.
