We are very excited to present a new show, Over the Rainbow with Billy Perkins, a ‘Desert Island Discs’-style interview with stories and songs. Billy just celebrated his 88th birthday. A lifelong bachelor born and bred in Dublin, he has been self-isolating during the pandemic, like so many older people. In this episode, he talks about lost love, dance halls, and singing in pubs, among other tidbits. I’m hoping this will be the first in a series with Billy to break up the day-to-day monotony of lockdown life.
