New week, new show, new tunes. All bands tonight are fronted by women in honour of the Sissy 7″ Launch this Sunday in the Barricade Inn. I do understand that bands should be played because they are great, not because they are men, women, straight, gay, etc. and that doing a show with only bands fronted by women misses the whole point of feminism and equality, but I also know that all of the bands on tonight’s show totally rock and that its a great collection of tunes full stop.
