This Show Totally Rocks Numero 35 23rd May

This week’s show has something for everyone that likes a bit of the auld rock.  Mudhoney kick things off with one of my favourite tunes of all time.  Dinosaur Jr. picks up the baton for the second song with a song from the latest album.  J Mascis moves from guitar to drums for a bit of Witch, before Annihilation Time turns the whole affair into a rock and roll thunderstorm.  A bit of a rock wig out follows with tunes from Blue Cheer and Tight Bros From Way Back When.  Then it is back to some proper punk rock with a new one from The Night Birds who have just announced a tour with The Zero BoysThe Adolescents keep the 80’s theme going and The Spits add a bit of modernity, before The Wipers bring it back to the classics,  Ian Dury and the Blockheads and Stiff Little Fingers keep it old school until the new school takes over the proceedings once again.  Bare Wires, Plateaus, Jay Reatard, The Legendary Wings and Big Eyes all get a look in before Janes Addiction wraps up the proceedings.  Tune in, Rock Out!!!
