Back on the air with some anger because a dip-$h!t politician calls to my door and makes me angry but besides all that – I just play the good music and make it all hang together – and I hope you enjoy the music. It took all my powers as a Dr. of the groove to bring myself back to a calmed state after running that blue shirt from the door.
We start with a great brain blister of a track cover version of a beetles Eleanor Rigby courtesy of the emperor tomato ketchup, and we just go from there. Boards and mono lakes and a stone cold classic from the 80’s with Orange juice and oh how I wanted the big foppy hair of Edwyn Collins.
Later I talk of a fellow ginger who was an amazing drummer and who-wee had a temper on him. Ginger Baker -always beware of Mr. Baker, as my mother would say ginger for sport!
