This week’s show is all about the fabulous Meatbodies gig I managed to make it to last Saturday in the Workman’s Club. I had to drive straight from West Cork and missed the first couple of songs, but it was totally worth it, even just to watch Eric Jimenez bate the shite out of the drums. Anyways, tune in for:
King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard
It was great to see an American garage/psych band play on a Saturday night in Dublin, but there was very little advertising for it and it was less than half full. The handful of us that caught it, caught a great gig. Well worth the 4.5 hour white knuckle drive in the pissing rain.
